Je vais maintenant détailler la question des mots étrangers non « francisés ». L’importation de mots étrangers en gardant leur écriture et en gardant « à peu près » leur prononciation engendre évidemment beaucoup d’irrégularité en français. Il y a irrégularité car si on le prononce « à la française », on obtient la prononciation courante du mot. L’italien choisit de garder la prononciation étrangère mais « italianise le mot » : cela lui permet de rester une langue essentiellement régulière.
